Signal Technology Limited was established in 2001 to manufacture and distribute the Signet range of Home Networking products, manufactured in New Zealand for NZ house specifications.
We have grown over the past 7 years, with the SIGNET ST2000 series (first released in 2003) leading our Home Networking range, and more new models released in 2008.
In 2006, we introduced the ST2500 and the ST2600 series - incorporating 19" patch panels, Cat5e and Cat6, and in 2007 we added a 12port option Cat5e or Cat6, as well Keystone unloaded patch panel models in 16 or 24ports (e.g. ST2524KU)
In addition to Home Networking, where we lead the New Zealand market, we are now a well established second tier brand of Data and Telecommunications products, with Genlink warranty available for Cat5e and Cat6 Networking products.
We are also the New Zealand distributor for HANLONG Data and Electrical tools - Taiwan's leading tool manufacturer.
Recently we have released SIGNET AV products, SIGNET SOUND Audio Distribution and Speaker range, and we we will be adding to our range of testers.
During 2008 we will be growing our product offering within these ranges, as well as expanding our overall range, including Power Solutions and Compression connectors.
We proudly distribute EXCLUSIVELY to the Electrical Wholesalers throughout New Zealand and will continue to do so.
Our vision is to grow our market leader position in Home Networking, with new product development and enhancements of existing products, as well as strong marketing and support throughout the country. We will also continue to grow the SIGNET brand in our other products areas, as well as constantly looking to improve our service delivery, and relationships with all Wholesalers.

In June 2007 we concluded a restructure including a Shareholding change, which resulted in a name change to Signal Technology 2007 Limited.
